Regarding the extension of the validity period of the E-Visa to enter the Russian Federation
On July 23, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, signed Federal Law No. 257-FZ “On Amendments to Articles 9 and 30 of the Law of the Russian Federation "On the State Border of the Russian Federation" and the Federal Law "On the Procedure for Exit from the Russian Federation and Entry into the Russian Federation".”
In accordance with the adopted amendments, the validity period of an E-visa to enter the Russian Federation has been extended from 60 to 120 days, and the permitted duration of stay for a foreign citizen in Russia on under this visa has been increased from 16 to 30 days.
This regulation will come into force on August 23.
